After graduating from Medical School at KULeuven maxima cum laude, I trained in Plastic Surgery in University Hospitals Leuven and did a Fellowship in Craniofacial, Cleft and Head and Neck surgery in EMCRotterdam.

From 1999-2005 I was working in MST Enschede and SMT Hengelo Hospitals in Twente, The Netherlands. There I also founded Cosmea, an aesthetic surgery Clinic in Hengelo with my colleagues.

Since 2004 and currently I am working in the ETZ Hospital Tilburg as plastic surgeon with special interest in facial plastic surgery after skin cancer surgery, Cleft surgery and Head and neck reconstructive surgery.

I have presented at international courses on this subject and regularly study and expand my knowledge and surgical techniques in relevant and established conferences.

As a fully trained plastic surgeon I have 25 years of experience and can operate in the whole body but my main interest and expertise is eyelidsurgery and Rhinoplasty. You can rely on me for upper eyelid and lower eyelid blepharoplasty, ptosis correction, endoscopic brow lift, liposuction and lipofilling. All secondary corrections for cleft patients in adult life are also within my competence.

In any aesthetic endeavour I strive for beauty by harmony. A natural and pleasing result of the operation with as little as possible obvious surgical features is the goal of any surgical intervention I undertake.
